Case Study: CFO Support for Overseas F&B Expansion

A Singapore F&B business expanding into Hong Kong needed additional finance, payroll and HR support during its pre-opening stage, without immediately building a full in-house team.

AccountStaff provided outsourced support through experienced talent with CFO-level oversight and a Client Service Manager to help coordinate key workstreams. The support covered pre-operating budgeting, one-year financial planning, licensing and permits, Employment Pass matters, payroll and HR advisory, tax compliance and corporate secretarial support.

The assigned talent also supported cloud-based accounting and reporting processes, including Xero report templates, bank feeds, AP and AR integration, document management and Banklink payments. Ongoing support included budget versus actual monitoring, cash flow rolling forecasts, KPI dashboards for GP1 and GP2, and monthly review meetings.
