Challenge
Annual stocktaking was a manual, time-consuming process for a leading writing instrument manufacturer given its sizeable stationery inventory. Warehouse staff had to manually unpack, count, check and repack a multitude of inventory items, presenting a high risk of human error. During stocktaking, all stock movement had to be suspended, negatively affecting operational efficiency.
