The Dependant Pass (DP) is issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to the dependants of eligible work pass holders. This pass allows legally married spouses and unmarried children under 21 years old (including legally adopted children) to join the main pass holder in Singapore. Note that application requirements may vary depending on the type of work pass held. Family members who do not qualify for a DP may be eligible for a Long-term Visit Pass (LTVP).

If a DP holder wishes to be employed in Singapore, they generally need to obtain a work pass. However, if the main pass holder holds a ONE Pass, the DP holder can work with a Letter of Consent (LOC) granted by MOM.
For DP holders who wish to operate a business in Singapore
DP holders wishing to operate a business in Singapore must first apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) from MOM. The outcome of this request will be provided within one week. Business operations can only begin after receiving the LOC
